We ship chocolate the way chocolate should be shipped — with temperature control, and sometimes with a cold pack when temps are warm. That can add a day or two, and in the warmest months we may hold orders to ship early in the week so nothing sits in a truck over a weekend. This magic is worth the wait.
If your chocolate arrives melted, damaged, or not right in any way, tell us within 30 days and we'll replace it for you. No need to send it back.
All Magic Chocolate bars are made with Regenerative Organic Certified® cocoa and coconut sugar. This global standard keeps us and our farming partners responsible for maintaining high soil health, using climate-friendly practices, ensuring fair trade, and supporting animal welfare.
I was excited to try this because I like chai, but I HATED THIS. My whole family hated this. It tastes like chocolate and curry. We had to eat something else to wash down the awful taste.
I wish the price wasn’t so high. The packaging withe bright colors are happy. I love the ingredients and would really like to try more of the flavor. At my sprouts they didn’t have more than 3 different choses .
I like the bright fun packaging made it easy to find. The chocolate was smooth and tasty. I would like to try their other flavors in the future.
I have never tried this brand but the golden milk bar was a suprisingly delicious treat, I thought it would be white chocolate but it was milk but it was so good.
This was very pricey, but I would probably still get it as a treat once in a while. I thought it had a pretty good melting texture, but I really liked the strong chai spice notes of cardamom, clove, etc. Of course, I appreciate the fair trade ingredients, which obviously caused it to have such a high price
Usually vegan chocolate bars are boring but these have fun flavors and even more exciting packaging! I loved the salted dark chocolate and golden milk chai flavors!
My husband said he prefers this one of the magic bars we tried so far. I thought this would be my favorite, but found it to be quite odd. The chai is a nice flavor, but it feels like you’re biting into a bag of chai tea which is not something I care for at all. Even if I loved it I don’t know that I’d ever be willing to pay full price for this bar
Exciting flavors! These are creamy and delicious! I want to try them all. Great texture and not too sweet. Really yummy chocolate! My kids enjoyed too!
I love how creamer/indulgent this chocolate is. The ingredients are nice and clean for a chocolate bar if you are health conscious. It’s also not too sweet.
I tried the Creamy Mocha Latte and the Golden Milk Chai. They were delicious and not hard to find in Sprouts. I love the fact that companies offer vegan options for these delicious chocolate bars.
Oh my goodness, this is the vegan chocolate treat of the heavens! I absolutely love how creamy the chocolate is, and it is packed with flavor.
I'm lactose intolerant so not really a milk chocolate type of guy. This was decent chocolate. It was also partly on sale so it sounds like most people don't feel the same way.
The majority at my store were dark chocolate only one milk chocolate option and they didn’t carry all the flavors from this brand. I only like milk chocolate so I tried the chai milk chocolate and there was no chai flavor, the milk chocolate part was good but the inside tastes prominently of turmeric. So turmeric chocolate, didn’t like it.
These bars were just okay. The flavors were strange. I got the chai flavor and it tasted interesting. Spice heavy but not sweet enough to be my favorite. I wouldn’t go for these again.
I love chocolate and was happy to try Magic Chocolate vegan bars. They are definitely pricey and normally won’t spend this much for a chocolate bar. I was disappointed with the flavor I chose though. It was bland and stale tasting to me.
Had a couple bites and then didn’t want anymore.
The chocolate was delicious! I liked that there's multiple different varieties available to pick and choose from, very fun flavors and tastes.
I mostly want to love this chocolate bar. It was creamy and the layers were a nice texture. The flavor took me a few try’s to enjoy, but I did get there. A bit pricey.
I really enjoyed the chocolate bars. They have a nice and soft outside that just melts in your mouth and blends nicely with the packed in flavors in the center of each chocolate piece
really surprised this is vegan because it tastes so rich and indulgent. delicious organic chocolate made from premium ingredients. i love all the different flavors and even though i'd prefer a less sugar option i do splurge from time to time and this hits the spot.
I really live that these are dairy free chocolate that are still creamy and satisfying. The flavors are interesting and delicious combination
I really wanted to like these, but honestly was a bit disappointed with the ones I tried. The Golden Milk Chai was just OK. I thought it would be infused with oat milk flavored with chai spices, but instead there was what tasted like whole powdered spices in it. It was very cardamom forward and was quite overpowering. Couldn't taste the oat milk at all. I loved the concept though and I hope they improve it.
I also tried the Smooth Coconut Praline bar. I thought it was going to be coconut and pecans from the name, but upon checking the ingredients, there was only coconut. I thought there would be a lot more crunchy coconut pieces with a strong coconut flavor, but instead, it was rather subdued and very mild. I love coconut and wanted more. But it wasn't bad, just kind of underwhelming.
All in all, I wouldn't get the same flavors again, but if they go on sale again or post another buy 1 get 1, I might try another couple flavors. I did kind of feel like maybe some of the other flavors might be better.
Lovely ethical vegan-friendly chocolates. It is indented at each row. My favorite flavors are the creamy oat milk golden chai, and hazelnut butter
It's a good vegan chocolate. As expected, it lacks the creaminess however, it doesn't have a weird waxiness that I have found in other vegan chocolates. I didn't like all of the flavors however.
I loved Magic chocolate bars! I have never thought of having golden milk, chai, and chocolate as a combination, but it tasted really delicious.
We tried the Creamy Mocha Latte and Golden Milk Chai flavors. They were absolutely delicious! We will definitely buy these again and look forward to trying other flavors.
Terrific chocolate in a great variety of flavors, perfect afternoon pick-me-up, wonderful texture and taste, one of the best chocolate bars out there
This vegan chocolate bar was nice! It is very good and very healthy for you! I am going back in the office today and I am trying it!so sweet
I really enjoyed Magic Chocolate Vegan Chocolate Bars! The chocolate was rich, smooth, and satisfying, with a delicious flavor that didn’t make me feel like I was missing out by choosing vegan. I’d definitely buy these again!
Wow! Can't go wrong with this. Good flavour points, good combination of ingredients and creamy to boot. Hard to limit my consumption with this product. Have to get some more!
These are definitely interesting. Not sure exactly what I expected but it certainly wasn't Cafe flavored chocolate. Texture isn't too bad just not the biggest fan of the taste
I was super curious to try out the golden milk chai flavor...I was hesitant at first, but it's oddly satisfying and delicious. I like this simply because it's unique.
I love the unique flavor profiles of these chocolate bars. I can’t wait to try them all, but highly recommend the more out there flavors. They will surprise you!
For centuries, the Swiss have been hard at work putting their legendary precision and thirst for innovation to the ultimate good: chocolate. In the 1800s, the invention of conching helped give Swiss chocolate its signature melt-in-your-mouth texture. We’ve carried that tradition forward with our partners at Maestrani, who have been making chocolate since 1852, to create a chocolate recipe that’s smooth, creamy, and just right. After plenty of hard work – and more than a few taste tests – it’s finally your turn to enjoy the results.
All Magic Chocolate products are certified fair trade under the Fair for Life program, which is overseen by the respected international certifier, Ecocert.
“Fair trade” means that the prices paid to farmers, as well as the wages & working conditions of farm & factory workers, are fair. For example, the price we pay cocoa farmers for their cocoa crops is 15% higher than the conventional price. In case of low market prices, at least the fair trade minimum price is paid. This safety net assures that costs of production are always covered, and that the farmer earns an income, and enables them to meet their basic needs, such as good food & accommodation, schooling, the ability to participate in social life, and provisions for times of need. An additional 10% is paid into a fair trade fund (estimated $80,000 per year, on average) for community development projects in education, healthcare & infrastructure. These are just a few of the many ways we ensure true fair trade partnerships with farmers & workers.
Regenerative Organic Certified® is the highest holistic gold standard for agricultural integrity in the world. It goes beyond avoiding harm to actively healing ecosystems through three interconnected pillars:
Yes! All Magic Chocolate flavors are gluten free. Our chocolate bars are certified gluten-free (to 10 ppm gluten or less), in accordance with the standards set by the GFCO.
There is no risk of cross-contamination potential. Our chocolate is not manufactured on processing equipment that is also exposed to gluten products.
Yes! Every Magic bar is made without added dairy. We use oat milk for our milk chocolate because it brings the sweetness and creaminess of cow’s milk with a lighter footprint. Most people don’t notice until we tell them. And that’s the point.
Hazelnuts and Almonds are present in some of our products. Additionally, some Magic products are made on equipment that also process milk and soy. Check each product's ingredient list to ensure no allergens that may affect you are present.
Our products are kosher but not halal.
It's important to us to use high quality organic ingredients that leave the earth better off than we found it. We use Regenerative Organic Certified® cocoa and sugar that meets demanding requirements for ecology and soil fertility with provisions for climate protection, Fair Trade practices, and animal welfare. These high standards are the reason our products are slightly more expensive.
Proper storage is crucial to preserving the quality and flavor of chocolate. Magic Chocolate should be stored in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and strong odors at a temperature range of 65–75°F (18–23°C) for optimal texture and taste. Though storing your chocolate in the fridge technically extends its shelf life, it can decrease the quality of its taste and texture. When you eat it, refrigerated chocolate will not melt as easily or smoothly, and the cocoa butter can bloom if allowed to warm to room temperature after being chilled. Additionally, storing chocolate in the fridge for an extended period allows for the smells of other foods to negatively impact the chocolate.
Chocolate is a very shelf-stable product and doesn’t “go bad” the way other foods do. Properly stored dark chocolate usually will retain its full flavor for about two years at room temperature, and oatmilk chocolate will continue to taste delicious for 18 months to 2 years. Our truffle bars stay creamy and fresh for 12 months.
After the printed “best if used by” date, the chocolate isn’t harmful to eat, but it may not taste as fresh or flavorful as it once did and chocolate bloom is more likely to appear.
We’re sorry that you experienced this. Melting is natural and happens to all chocolate at some point. If your Magic Chocolate has melted, the best thing to do is enjoy it gooey rather than cooling or attempting to re-solidify it. We recommend dipping your favorite fruits, nuts, or cookies into the melted chocolate or drizzling it on yogurt, ice cream, or even popcorn. A partially melted bar offers a great opportunity for baking cookies or brownies.
If your chocolate arrived melted, that's on us. Get in touch and we'll make it right.

Magic Chocolate is an emulsion of fats and solids: Regenerative Organic Certified® cocoa butter and cocoa solids paired with organic sugar. These ingredients are carefully mixed and cooled by our master chocolatiers at Maestrani in Switzerland to create a stable crystalline structure in a process called tempering. Tempering is what gives chocolate a beautiful shine, a snappy crunch, and a creamy mouthfeel that melts evenly on the tongue.
White film or dull streaks on chocolate products are common occurrences known as chocolate or cocoa butter bloom. Bloom is the result of the chocolate’s crystalline structure breaking down, causing the cocoa butter to rise to the surface and create a lighter coloration and the subtle changes in taste and mouth feel. This can occur when chocolate has experienced major shifts in temperature, such as when it is transported from a temperature-controlled grocery store to a warm car and then into an air-conditioned house. Fully melted chocolate that is rapidly cooled often develops an opaque layer of white cocoa butter on the surface of the bar. Bloom can even occur in chocolate products that have been handled and stored responsibly.
Bloomed chocolate is perfectly safe to eat, but it may not be as flavorful or creamy. We suggest repurposing melted chocolate as a dipping sauce or drizzle, or as an ingredient in baking recipes. While chocolate does not continue to bloom at a rapid rate, we suggest using it within a month or two of the initial bloom.
